This is one of our display cakes as featured in Amour Amour.
As we are well into the Autumn season and heading towards the cool Winter months, I thought that this colour pallet of SLATE BLUE would be perfect! The sophistication of the greyish-blue color paired with white, ivory, silver & black creates a perfect blend of cool & elegant hues.
One of the sweetest Birthday party theme has to be the ‘Princess Theme’! it’s every little girl’s dream to be a Princess (with or without a Prince!) & their favourite colour … Pink!
When I was given this theme, all I could think of is : voluminious skirts, tutus, pink dresses with ribbons, ballet slippers, tiaras, tinsels, flowers, jewels, beads, rings……. splendour from head-to-toe!!

Stacie Francombie from CWR featured our cakes again! This time she was writing an article on Purple Evokes Elegance, Creativity & Class at Weddings. You gotta love the different shades of Purple she had on the article!
Two of our cakes made it into the article: the Lilac & Lace wedding cake & a Gift Box cake (suitable for Bridal Shower and/or Kitchen Tea party).
I think a lot of brides would’ve loved to be in this bride’s shoes! She didn’t have to worry about her wedding cake!!
Her closely-knitted friends organised a special wedding present for the couple… a Wedding cake!
The theme colour was Lilac…which is romantic in nature and blends well with a number of other colours
The bride specifically requested for ‘Lace’ embellishment to be used on the cake & a couple of feature flowers… ‘something pretty… but not over the top’
